In a world full of single use, disposable materials and wasteful use of resources every business encounters a mountain of waste every day.

As a toy business committed to sustainability and ecology even wooden toys are not exempt from excessive cardboard packaging waste. Treetop toys recycling policy is driven by the avoidance of plastic packaging and to reuse as much cardboard packaging as possible. Sharing our excess packaging with other local businesses gives cardboard packaging an extended lifespan. Encouraging the reuse of cardboard inturn additionally reduces our carbon footprint.

Additionally Treetop Toys encourages lots of fun upcycling materials using many of our craft kits and art supplies - Makedo, Primo, and recycle me.

Any packaging left over is sorted and flattened to minimise space in our recycling partners vehicles.
